In-Game Server Rules

Postby Roman Archer » Wed Jan 13, 2016 8:32 pm

General Behavior
"Angel Pine Roleplay is a community that consists of gamers that want an enjoyable RP experience. The goal of our community is to all socialize together and have a great time while enforcing basic rules of the roleplay server.", This is the quote we go by, and will enforce 24/7.

Simply said, You must be kind to all players OOC'ly. Do not disrespect anyone OOC'ly, and treat everyone like you want to be treated. Roleplay at all times and do not disturb roleplay by continuously using /b.

Examples of Non-Tolerated Behavior:
/q'ing because someone has injured you an unknown reason, meaning you refuse to roleplay with them.
Refusing to roleplay because someone has injured you.
Reporting continuously because someone has broken a server rule. One report is enough

Along with all that said, you are not allowed to spam chat. A minimum of 4 of the same lines is considered spamming the chat.

Punishment: Breaking this rule will result of an OOC kick, to a ban depending on the severity.

Deathmatching
Deathmatching is when you kill another player without a sufficient in character reason to do so. This also includes "Revenge Killing", which is when you have been killed recently by another player, and seek revenge by killing them as soon as possible. The server has a rule that all in character memory is wiped 2 hours before the killing has occured. This rule does not prohibit you from distancing you from that player, it only prohibits you from killing them immediately after they've killed you. Once the two hours are up, you are allowed to roleplay shootings with that player again.

If you however are saved by paramedics, you still have all your memory and are able to continue roleplaying whatever you were roleplaying with that person.

Punishment: Breaking this rule will result of an OOC kick, to a ban depending on the severity.

Metagaming
Metagaming is using Out Of Character information In Characterly. Sharing in character information out of character (Via Teamspeak, Phone, even conversation) with the intention of it being used to metagame is forbidden.

Examples of this rule are listed below:
• John Doe reads Jane Doe's nametag above her head, and talks to her as if he knows her name In Characterly
• John Doe tells Jane Doe that the police are outside her house, and Jane logs off to avoid arrest.
• [/me grows wings on his back, and flies away from John Doe, saving Jane Doe from his custody.]

Punishment: Breaking this rule will result of an OOC kick, to a ban depending on the severity.

Powergaming
Powergaming is performing acts that are not possible to do, forcing roleplay upon others or roleplaying something that cannot be done by the current script.

Examples Listed Below:
• John Doe goes up to Jane Doe, and roleplays taking her weapon away from her and runs away without giving her a chance to respond.
• John Doe spreads his arms, jumps and flies into the air.
• John Doe roleplays having a knife, although does not actually have it on his person
• Roleplaying anything in general that doesn't allow a player to respond. at least 30 seconds must be given for a person to respond to a roleplay scenario.

Punishment: Breaking this rule will result of an OOC kick, to a ban depending on the severity.

Theme of Roleplay
Although many servers do not come with a rule like this one, We at Angel Pine Roleplay have this rule for a reason and that is for the players to roleplay as a county-based character.

An Example of this would be:
• City based gangs such as Bloods, Vagos, Grove Street, Ballas, etc. are not allowed.

Punishment: Breaking this rule will result of an OOC kick, to a ban depending on the severity.

Hacking
Installing a mod that gives you an unfair advantage over other players is not allowed, Period.

Punishment: Breaking this rule will result in a permanent ban. No exceptions are made.

Certain Roleplay Scenarios
There are certain roleplay scenarios that are offensive to some players, therefore both sides of the party must agree before performing any of the following roleplay scenarios below:

• Rape
• Cannibalism
• Dismemberment
• Sexual harassment
• Any other offensive roleplay

Punishment: Breaking this rule will result of an OOC Admin Jail, to a ban depending on the severity.

Arson
Arson is the crime of intentionally, deliberately and maliciously setting fire to buildings, wild land areas, dumpsters, vehicles or other property with the intent to cause damage.

You can only set fire to buildings, wild land areas, dumpsters, vehicles or other property with the permission of an in game admin. Be prepared to explain why you wish to set fire to the area, what your connection is with that person or area, and how you plan on doing it.

If there are no admins online that can give you permission, you MUST wait until an admin logs on, or simply wait on teamspeak for an admin to speak with you.

Punishment: Breaking this rule will result of an OOC Admin Jail, to a ban depending on the severity.

Keybinding
Auto Keybinding is basically when a player uses a program such as AutoHotKey or SA:MP Keybinder to set a timer to prevent being AFK, or in some way exploiting the in game AFK timer in order to get a paycheck or money from a job.

You can only have a bind with a timer that is used whilst you are actively at your computer, moving around in game. An example is shown below:

You cannot have a bind with a timer that can continuously do something in order for you to make money. An example is shown below:

Robbing/Scamming
Robbing: To take property unlawfully from (a person or place) by force or threat of force.

Scamming: A dishonest scheme; a fraud, or a swindle. Such as refusing to give a product after someone has paid for said item.

All characters that are involved in robberies or scams must be level 3 or higher. There are certain limits in which you can rob or scam another player for. You may rob a total of $1,000 from another person, no higher. You may scam a total of $25,000 from another person, no higher. As to personal belongings such as weapons or drugs, there are no limits on these. You are not allowed to scam businesses, properties, or vehicles from any player. When you have completed the scam or robbery, you may not rob/scam that same person for a total of 4 hours after it has been done. Lastly, you are not allowed to murder the victim of the robbery, unless they provoke the robber.

Punishment: Breaking this rule will result of an OOC Admin Jail, to a ban depending on the severity.
